Profile
Ms. Peterson provides practical, pragmatic mediation services for state and federal civil cases. While mediating over a thousand cases over the past decade, Ms. Peterson has maintained a high success rate in helping parties reach resolution. Ms. Peterson has arbitrated over 150 cases to date as chair, panel member, or sole arbitrator, including ad-hoc cases. Ms. Peterson is an adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law Houston for mediation and negotiation, and is a sought-after educator in mediation, arbitration, and ethics. Beyond the Texas practice, she brings a distinctly international toolkit: she is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, and an attorney licensed in Texas and New York.
Her practice travels well: Ms. Peterson is frequently in San Antonio and Austin for in-person mediations, and she offers those same sessions by Zoom when meeting virtually suits the parties better.
