Karl Bayer pairs an engineer's technical fluency with four decades in the law, making him a natural fit for intellectual property and technology disputes. A 1976 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law who spent 37 years as a trial lawyer, Bayer has mediated thousands of complex, multiparty cases and serves regularly as an arbitrator and court-appointed special master. Based in Austin, he is a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators.
