Recognized as a Leader in the Legal Community

In recognition of her expertise and dedication, the Texas Supreme Court invited Cathy to be a member of its Advisory Committee, where she has helped shape the future rules and procedures of courts statewide. She has also served as the Chair of the statewide committee for court reporter licensure and formerly chaired the Bexar County Civil Courts Committee, which worked tirelessly to keep the courts functioning for the community, even during the challenges of the pandemic. In addition to her work in Bexar County, Cathy was appointed as a Multi District Litigation Judge for four years, overseeing oil and gas litigation for multiple counties in South Texas.

Educational Background

Cathy Stryker earned her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1989. In 1993, she received her J.D. from Villanova University and has been a licensed attorney since 1993.
